Hi everyone, I joined the RI chapter a while back but I just haven't had the time to introduce myself. I have a 86 F-150 4X4 witha 4.9. It spent its entire life in New Mexico and just came to RI last year. Bought it last summer with the intention on doing a light restoration on it. That old 4.9 runs awesome, I don't know what it is, but I absolutely love this engine and plan on keeping it if I ever do a rebuild.

I did end up rebuilding the T-case, restoring the interior and now I'm going through the suspension and front end now. The truck restoration is sort of on hiatus for now. I just bought a house and my time and attention has been focused on that for now so now I just use the truck to haul and tow home restoration stuff. Good news is I now have a huge garage now that my truck fits in which my loving. I can't wait to refocus my attention on my truck again, I want to get this truck mechanically perfect again.
