do any of you ford experts know if this is true.......

"The problem you'll run into is there are two version of adapters for the NP205/C6 combo. One is 5-3/4" long for pick-ups, the other 8-3/4" long for Broncos."

i was having trouble with trying to make jeff's 4x4 shifter work with the parts we have .. if we have the wrong adapter it would explain the problem.. i need to measure the adapter in the truck to see how long it is..

rich i wonder if you could measure the adapter length on that c6-205 with the offset shift bar, and the shifter to shift bar length if you have that also..

We had a quiet day around here today.
Shari, Tim and I went out to a Mexican place here in town that we like a lot.
I took a couple of pictures to try to get a good shot of the Pollen here this time of year. With a good hard wind blowing, it actually looks like the trees have farted, there really is a green cloud in the air.
It's like this from mid March, through part of April. Everything is covered in Green Dust.

I don't know if it was the same one or not RC...but he was a pain...I may go a different way tomorrow lol.. I don't have a bracket to put the plate on the front of my jeep. Urgg...besides I might enjoy the different scenery lol

Well I can't figure out how to put that shifter together RC...but if you found something let's try it.

RC, it's raining here pretty good...I know you said if it rains much more you wouldn't be able to get out. I will collect those fittings and see you on Wednesday. I'm off both Wednesday and Thursday. Usually the parts store only has one or two fittings and has to order the rest...so I'll collect them and then get down there with all of them to finish the transmission lines etc. I didn't realize oriellys closed so early in Sparta on Sundays as I came through.....

Good morning everybody
It's raining here too, and supposed to have thunderstorms tomorrow, and I hope it does. I do dig a good thunderstorm. Just keep the Tornadoes on hold.
I'm checking with an outfit in Wilmington that decommissions Humvees. They're selling 90-95% tread take offs for $100 each, and due to the cracks alone on Ka'Bluey's tires he'll never pass Missouri's state inspection. That, I will miss about North Carolina. Vehicles older than 25 years, are exempt for any state inspection, . To me, that's the one that should be gone over with a fine tooth comb.
Now 39 day's....

John T let me know when you want to come north for the grill insert and the headlight doors. Call me if you have my # or PM me your #.

It is a LAW to always have at front plate...I mean come on do i really have to clutter up my pretty front bumper. lol

I hate when running a 18,000 lb tag (that means you only need a front one) and they pull you over...come on johnny law get with the program. Plate NOT issued and there fore NOT required.

RC I will get some pics and measurements of both set ups this afternoon. Sorry been a busy weekend and I was not here as much.
