I have 1997 Triton 5.4 econoline there is a very loud rattle comming from the rear of the intake manifold which I understand is from the swirlflaps. I have read that swirlflaps can be removed is that true? Can they be replaced and what is the process, do I have to remove the intake manifold? I have done a lot of search on the subject and not much information on this particular van. Can you refer a source? Gratefull for any help.
