Yes this motor will work but none of the '95 wiring can be used and there will be a couple issues to overcome.
1) The distributors are different. Mechanically they are the same but the '95 motor has a roller cam which requires a steel drive gear on the dizzy.. the '89 motor has a flat tappet cam; And the TFI module was moved to the fender in the early '90s so the '89 wiring won't mate with the '95 distributor.
The solution to both problems is to put a steel gear on the '89 distributor.
2) The Intake Air Temp(IAT) sensor was moved from the lower intake to the airbox somewhere in the '90s and if this motor doesn't have that sensor the lower intake from the '89 motor has to be swapped on.

Just a thought on the distributor. If you have the newer distributor with the remote mount module, why not consider using the remote mount instead of replacing the gear on the older distributor? Modules were moved because of heat related failures and this sounds like a good opportunity to upgrade. Of course, you have to be careful about grey push start module vs. black CCD module, but as long as you are compatible with your ECM, all should work.

Yes that could be a good upgrade to do especially if you live in a hotter climate, but it requires modifying the wiring harness so I suggest tackling it after the motor has be installed and is running correctly with an unmolested wiring harness.
