Yes they do. I've seen a fox go over a 5 foot chain link fence but stay away from people. People don't let there cats out to roam because of a leash law and the owls. Been some time but I've seen a fox with a cat in its mouth.

 

We don't have a leash law for cats just dogs..

My neighbor is always letting their cats out..

When I had cats they always stayed in the house unless they escaped..LOL

 

We don't let Macy outside unless we are with her.

 

I have a screened porch that the cats used to go out on..

A few times other cats came close and they were growling at each other...LOL

 

I would be afraid that a cat could climb a screen and rip it if it wasn't declawed like an outside cat.

 

They never climbed the screen..

Probably knew I would beat the crap out of them if they did...LOL

 

We use to have squirrels climb the sliding door screen and if they ripped it would come on in. You don't want a squirrel in the house.

 

Yeah I know they can do some damage..

Haven't had any issues with them

 

We had two come in but stayed on the back porch until one of us went out there then they ran out the way they came it.

 

Did you pull down your pants and show them your nuts to scare them away???

 

I wouldn't risk my nuts for a damned tree rat.
