F 350 rear end

Is there any differance between a single and a dual wheel rear axle on a 93 F 350(sterling ten & 1/4)

I am pretty sure there is other than the obvious. Probably heavier duty bearings, gears, axles and case etc. You would probably get a lot more results if you post under the transmissions and driveline section. If you can get the numbers off the tag that is on your differential, the guys can give you exact deatil.

Well first of all they would be Dana 70's. The only major difference is the width of the axles.

'90 F-150 351 AOD "The General"
'78 F-250 460 C-6 "Old Green"
'93 Mustang 5.0 HO AOD

I beg to differ on the Dana 70s comment. '93 would have the Ford/Sterling 10.25. Don't know personally if there is a difference DRW to SRW.
