oil pressure,temp.,voltage gauge kit
I don't get reliable info from dashboard cluster. Is there any good kits out there? All the ones I've seen don't include voltage gauge. Does the oil pressure gauge connect to the high pressure oil pump. I'm a retired "simple tree man" so I would get a mechanic to install.
Thanks,
Tom

It's a "97 F-250 XL &.3L
The oil pressure gauge is useless. It has the correct amount of oil yet it is never in the middle. Always a little to the right of "L". The battery gauge is completely useless as I have no idea of what the voltage is when I turn the key on. Brand new Die Hard Gold 885 CCA batteries and voltage indicates just above 8 volts then points to middle of gauge when truck starts. I have a very slooow main seal leak. Don't know if a HPOP gauge would be smart to put in. I also have no idea of what the oil pressure should be. On the gauges I've seen the max. is 4000 psi

Autometer makes some nice gauges. If you can't find the trio set you like, get them separately and get the holder you need.

More costly then the cheapie sets at the parts store, but the quality is good.
The oil pressure gauge in the cluster is for engine oil only, not the HPOP for injectors. A std 0-100 psi is what you would need.
Typically the factory gauge needles are meant to be "in the middle" when everything is okay. They can't be relied on for actual numbers. They are more like over glorified "warning lights" that move.
