And I bet it still longs to be Meadow Green!

Come to think of it I don't recall seeing many, if any, Meadow Green panel trucks!

It was screaming orange to me so I gave in. It had been painted a few times before I got it, blue, white and red oxide primer..

Thanks Jim, Is the grey on your panel a Coast Guard color or the stock grey that Ford used that year? Your panel does look nice! That is a cool shot next to the ferry.

Bill, Willard looks great! The red I used is Nason (Dupont) urethane fleet paint in Holly Red. I think it is close to Vermillion Red also.

Mark, thanks. I had the paint guy from our local auto parts store match the color from some original paint on a protected part of the cowl. Finding the official paint code for "Navy" gray is not as easy as you would think. Each era seems to have had their own interpretation of what Navy gray should look like. Maybe the Coast Guard color was a little different than the Navy color. At any rate, I tried to match the color that was original to my truck. The color on the data plate was SS.

Your red and black two tone is going to look great. Maybe you'll even have to go with WWW tires. I'm gathering from the thread we have going that they are allowed if you have black fenders.

The official Navy color is called Haze Gray. The CG used it too in some applications.
