Good morning all. Dave, don't forget at least a spring kit. I get to weld up some 39 Ford sedan doors to then cut to fit a 39 coupe and weld up again. Also installing window actuators in them.

New hardware went in not long ago so that's not a problem.

Let me elaborate a little better - a spring kit went in not long ago. It's getting new adjuster hardware today.

Drums turned out nice. They were both a little out of round, but it didn't take much to straighten them out. Getting ready to go and redo everything... again. Third time's the charm right?

I'm testing one solution at a time. I've got the brakes back together and getting ready to test hop it. Then I'll try moving tires around.

Not wanting to jinx anything, but I think some serious progress has been made. My test run went very well, but the back brakes needed to be tightened up some more. I've got that done and things are feeling pretty good. I'll make another test run as soon as the advil kicks in. My shoulder is not happy about all the taking lug nuts on and off.

Test 2 went very well. Brakes work nice and quiet with only a slight hint of vibration on a panic stop. Stopped on the way home and picked up my utility flatbed from Nikki's friend's new place. They borrowed it to move a few weeks ago and Nikki had problems getting it hitched up to drag it home.

Truck is all gassed up and ready for another mad house at work.

I've got one, but my compressor grenaded a while back. I'm in the process of rebuilding it but have had to wait for parts.

I'm surprised you don't RC. As for fancy smancy - all mine have come from Harbor Freight or yard sales/swap meets.
