connecting rod nuts

Does anyone know what the torque is on the tin jam nuts that go on top of the connecting rod nuts. On a flathead V-8

Just snug them up against the main nuts, or throw them away. Less than 10 ft-lbs, couldn't say an exact number, I do it by feel when I use them. They do little to maintain main nut torque, if anything.
