Well, my long journey and adventure with Edith has come to an end. The old girl pulled out of here about 10 mins. ago headed to her new home in Texas. I was sad to see her leave, but now I have a lot more room in the barn and some well earned cash to get back to work on Dollie. I don't know if I will be able to get her done in time for Truckstock 2017 but I am gonna giver her a try.
Daymn, Joe, that old girl, Edith was family. You can figure out how to get Dollie to TS17 I am sure. She may not be decked in all her finery but we expect her to be there. Think positive.
Edit: Did Edith leave under her own power or on a trailer?
Got a call from the new owner this morning. Truck arrived about 6PM last night, he's happy with the truck. The transport guy must have thought Edith was a 2010 instead of a 1950 as he tried to 'fold' the mirror in and broke the arm, wish he would consulted with me when I loaded it for him, I could have loosened the arm to move up or down for him.
if that is the arm that comes off the hing , I have one
Dave it is, but it is an adjustable arm, the one for the pickups aren't long enough to get the mirror head to clear the bed. I found an aftermarket one at a parts store near him.

Wow, service after the sale! He'll buy from you again.
