Good day gone bad

Day started good , Got a new power steering pump from the parts store , this one does not leak , not like the last two I put on . Also have been working on the brakes , Never had a good pedal , always went 3/4 the way down before brakes worked , I pulled the master cylinder off and started measuring , found the rod coming out of the power boost was to short . After adjusting it now has great pedal . So time to clean my mess , started by using the leaf blower to clean the floor . decided to put the lift up to get under it . Lift raised about two feet and stopped , then started down to the first lock position . Hydraulic line broke , two galleons of oil on the floor , and very little speedy dry in the place . ended up on my hands and knees scrubbing with dish soap and water , then power washing the entire floor . Now the lift sits can't get hose until Monday , and can't put anything in the garage , Good time to stop for the day . Merry Christmas to every one .

Hey you need to look at it in another way... Thank God you weren't putting the truck up in the air when it happened. The truck could be stuck on the lift and had to clean it up, with the truck in the way! And still have to wait till Monday to get a new hose! LOL... Maybe Santa will bring you a new hose for the lift! Sorry to bust you *****, but Merry Christmas...

My ***** have been busted for so long , I don't even feel it anymore . Yes a truck or car stuck on the lift would have been bad , but could have taught the neighbors not to ask me to do stuff on there rides .

Relax, Dave. A glass of warm milk and a couple of homemade cookies will help ease any pain. Merry Christmas.

...you can always add a little (or a lot) of Bailey's Irish Cream to your warm milk and/or just forego the warm milk and have a few fingers of Baileys.

Merry Christmas!

Hope your repair is quick and painless Monday. Until then adult beverages are in order. You might even be able to chill with ole St Nick after a few
Merry Christmas Dave
