I'll agree with benlty on this but will add that the flowmaster muffler with have a interior drone that will get annoying there are some others out there that won't have the drone too them. No need for a the y-pipe on the 3 valve trucks the days of chips are over now there are flash tuners check out 5 star tuners for your truck they do the best tuning for ford gas trucks you will have much better throttle response Ford has really dumbed down the drive by wire but don't expect 100hp form it but I think you will be happy with it.

You may look at a tuner from 5star however I am not sure how well it will work compared to a V10.

Thanks for all the feed back...much appreciated

Dragging the ole' ramcharger for some fun in the sticks.....I'd say prolly 8000 lbs. Had about 10" of snow on the ground when we got back on the road to get home. Truck handled it pretty well, although I managed to only get about 7mpg for the 2.5 drive !

My 5.4 in my 03 super duty pulls a 14 foot trailer almost daily for me with my landscaping equipment. As well as an ez dump and box in the bed. Bought it from a tree guy.

It doesnt have all the power in the world loaded. But i cant complain. Im not out to win races. Just make money at work.

I don't have any pics on my new phone, but I pull anything from from a lawnmower trailer up to trailers weighing 12,000 lbs. It may be the runt of the super duty lineup, but it pulls better than any obs truck I had, gas or diesel. Never had any reliability issues out of all the ones I've owned, but wouldn't complain about a little extra power.

I don't have any pics but I use my 03 F350 4x4 5.4 4r100 3:73 to pull my enclosed 14' dbl axle. Fully loaded, 60 mph in I57 From Chicago to MS, can't hardly tell the trailer is back there until a big rig blows past ya and knocks you around a little bit. Last trip was labor day weekend and I averaged 16mpg

Just look at what was used to pull these same loads in the 1970's and 1980's!

The 5.4 would've been a superstar then! It gets the job done and that's all that matters.

Stock 265/17's with 3.73's. The combo weights in at 16k. 8 a piece. Pulls it just fine.
