Can I tow this with my setup?? 6k lbs on 37" wheels and a lift kit

Well I finally broke down and am upgrading my excursion camper to a full blown pull a trailer deal.

I mostly offroad, deer hunt, dry camp, etc so I'm fully setup for off-road shenanigans, so I need your help to get me tow-ready:

Current Setup:
  • 7.3L Diesel engine
  • 37" military tires
  • Regeared from 3.73 --> 4.30 (lovin' it)
  • Stock intake/exhaust/no chips
  • Stock tranny
  • Haven't bought a trailer hitch yet
  • Have a brake controller
  • No sway bar

Things I'm thinking of:
  • weight distributing hitch
  • buying a stock tire kit 16" rims and 265/75/16 stock tow hwy tires
  • rear sway bar

Questions and Concerns

Do I really need to swap out tires? Are military 37's that bad for towing?
I have a 6" lift, will this make towing extremely difficult? I have a drop hitch, but don't know if that really makes things problematic
I see people talk about tranny coolers or temp monitors, not sure If I need that, I mean the Ex has a tranny temp on the dash, even though it's not that accurrate I've definitely seen it spike up going up steep hills in the mud

Here are the trailer specs:

GVWR - 7650 lbs.
Hitch Weight - 650 lbs.
UVW - 6314 lbs.

I guess you plan on re-gearing again back to the 3.73's then, yes? Because you're not gonna like driving that truck with those gears on stock tires.

No.
No.
So do I, and no it won't.

I think that your biggest challenge will be finding a good WD hitch with enough drop to have the trailer sitting level. Otherwise I don't see a problem towing that kind of weight with that rig.
