Reason: cuz
I have the same problem yesterday. Bill @ AE said the reason it won,t connect is because I have a DP tuner chip . I just received the new F6 chip 2 days ago. Tried to connect no luck. It was to late to phone Jody & I believe they are closed on Friday. Will try to-day without the chip.Friskyjake
OK I went out & pulled my Dp chip. Connected my AE to the ob11 port Turned on my key to on. The AE would not connect, Truck would start & run without the chip installed. Put chip back again ,hooked up AE & it would not connect to read anything. I have pulled chip again. Left it that way till I can get some good help. Before I tried all this I checked both, power output & cigar sockets have power & the OB11 port has 12.5 volts {lower R side pin} Will be asking for any advice form you folks & Jody @ DP tuner & try with AE on Monday.
