Ford F-150 wiring

Hey folks, need a little help. A friend of mine is a school teacher and was riding home from work in his 1992 F150. He started hearing a sound like something was wrapped around his drive shaft.

I went over to help and found a piece of a wiring harness wrapped around it.

The school shop teacher thinks it part of the wiring that goes to the fuel pump. The numbers off a part that still looks good are as follows;

P260G F4TB 15525

the truck is a 92 or 93 F-150 4WD 5 speed straight 6, it will start but will not keep running.

Could someone figure out what part this is, and were I could find one for him. I've tried Rock auto and also searched by the number I have with negative results.

I have the cd for early f100 -f150 parts and have found it very useful in restoring my 65 f100.

Any help would be very appreciated.

Thanks,

Matt

I'd find a mirror and a bright flashlight and crawl under and start looking around. You should find the other end of the harness under there somewhere.
