I just bought a 2016 F350 dually fx4 lariat after I sold my 2002 F350 single rear wheel . When I owned my 2002 I found a buch of free , or cheep mods to get more engine sound and more turbo whistle out of it and the truck when I sold it sounded great and was wondering if anyone had found any similar modifications for the 6.7 turbo ? I know of the typical muffler / air box , tuner , which I plan on in the future but I am getting a 4" front , 6" rear lift to hold the rake look for towing . Thanks for any help !

 

I did basically the same thing, sold my beloved '02 F250 and bought a '16 F350 KR dually. The F250 was really a great truck but REALLY loud, the '16 is very quiet as you know. I wish it had some diesel noise but I'm not changing anything, not taking any chances on screwing up the warranty.

 

I will be doing the same thing, . I will change the Air Box probily to a AFE , heard it has a loud turbo whistle by itself . I am getting the truck lifted Thursday and will try to post pictures on the weekend but I always have trouble posting pictures

 

It looks like they will have it 4" taller in back and 4" in front, installed for $2316 after taxes , I forgot what brand but am goin through 4 wheel parts , I will try to post some pictures of it and can give you the information on it after if you want to do the same to your truck? He said it will still be capable of towing as much as before
