As for coolant flush, I've had it for almost 3 years now and haven't done one so it wouldn't be a bad idea. Any suggestions on coolant to go with? Also for the filter, is sinister the way to go? or is the XPD one fine too? And I am running 5-40 synthetic.
Sounds good!

I chose this one. Figured I didn't need to pay extra for a name inscribed on the top of the housing. Shipping was really quick as well. I have ordered a few things from Rudy's and have always been happy but you can get either of the ones you mentioned. They are both good as well.

Might as well save the couple bucks and go with that one. Any recommendation for coolant? Is there one preferred over another?

Any ELC. I use Prestone. Need to flush out all the old stuff, though.

Like Dave said any ELC will work. I got mine at Fleet Farm and I think it was Prestone as well. Make sure you mix with distilled water after you flush it thoroughly and pick up some VC-9 iron cleaner from Ford to do the flush. I would change the thermostat as well as long as your doing it. A new one from Ford is only like 25 bucks and comes with a new housing.

Good morning fellas!

A great night trick-or-treating! Good times with good people. I even got a cold beer while out with the kiddos! I kinda like the adult version of Trick-or-Treating.

Looks like a nice warm week so enjoy it while it lasts!

Trick or treating was crazy busy for us. Probably 200-300 kids. Never had that many before...

Wowzers that is a lot of kids. Hope you didn't give them each a handful of candy or you would be broke from buying all the candy! Haha

Good evening guys. Got a bit more trim painted after work then changed the oil in the Taurus.

Neither Lynn nor I were home so I don't know how many of the extortionists...errr...little kids were out here. Never had more than 50-60 tops though. That is just a crazy amount of people Dave.

I also saw lots of posts of kids out while it was still daylight. That just seems weird to me.

It was crazy Jay, more than I'd ever seen.

Good morning everyone! Enjoy hump day. I'm in northern NC for a couple days for training. Yay.
