I was going to order my Ford Racing roller lifters but they only have them listed for a 5.0, it seems I remember that the 5.0 and 5.8 were the same. The part number is M-6500-302R just want to make sure I am thinking straight. Thanks

 

I believe they are the same. I've never seen a difference for the roller lifters.
The 4.9 and 7.5 share the same for flat tappet cams as well.

 

I just installed a set of lifters with that part number. They fit. I did have 1 lifter that didn't slide in the bore well, found a tiny tiny burr and had to file it it off. I wasn't very impressed. My understanding is the same factory makes all the lower priced lifters and Ford, TFS, etc just rebrand them. Anyway, just make sure they all slide in the bore nicely.

 

Yes both motors use the same lifters and the same cams but not the same pushrods.
