I may be able to get my hands on the 6 inch suspension lift from a 99 f350. I would just have to swap it myself, as the current owner is looking for a lower ride. My question is, will suspension from a 99 fit a 2000? I know there are some differences worth the front u bolts, but are the springs/ major components compatible?

 

the super-duty rides 2 inches higher than a comparable Excursion
Thus a 6" F250/350 lift will be 8" on an excursion.
The 99 and 2000 suspensions should be interchangeable otherwise,
provided they are BOTH 2WD - or BOTH 4WD

 

I knew about the height difference, my concern was with the pitman arm and track bar. I have read that there are some differences in early to late model 99 trucks

 

There are 2 different sector shaft spline counts in the steering boxes, count your and his to see if the are the same.

On the track bar there are 2 different bolt sizes used.
