2017 vs 2016 Height

Wow. This is an interesting comparison. Is this what you guys who actually have trucks are seeing?

Not what I saw at all. The 16 must have had the 2" blocks and perhaps no plow prep. The 17 likely had plow prep and the HD tow pkg. I sat my 12 next to a 17 SRW 350 and the difference was MUCH less dramatic, let alone "UNREAL." LOL.

I love how they are a little higher. Also love the rake. The new SD looks like a BEAST!

It's a beast. The first video is a carbon copy comparison to my 2011.

Everyone at the office is shocked how much bigger it is.

They call it Megatron.....

I stopped at a dealer Sun and they had two F350 CCSB 4wds(1-'16 and 1-'17)sitting next to each other. Both had 20" wheels and the 6.7, the '17 was slightly higher than the '16.
Tops of the cabs had maybe 2" difference.

The top of the box was quite a bit higher on the '17 but it looked like the '17 had deeper bedsides than the '16.

Bottom of the cab on the '17 looked quite a bit higher but I think it's more of an optical illusion because of the way the cabs are designed.

Had to remove trim from my garage for it to fit.

Look at the opening behind the bed. Not to mention it's 3" longer as well.

srkr, that's hilarious. You get 5 stars for finding practical solutions. Withholding the aesthetic rating for now.

I still can't figure why you don't back in srkr. I guess it's because if you back in you can't get out with your door against the wall?

If you live in a snow state, don't forget that you'll hit if there is significant snow on the ground. That would be a bad way to end or begin the day!

The outgoing F-250 CCSB with the FX4 package is 79.9" in height at the highest point of the cab. The 2017 F-250 CCSB with the FX4 package is 81.5". It's all on the Ford website under the specifications for each.
