The balloon idea is a nice trick. Gotta' remember that.

Yes, its running. One I figured out the problem I got the timing set and completed the initial break-in.

Then I discovered another problem. To set base timing I removed the spout and set it to 10* BTDC. But now with the spout in, at idle, it shows 30* BTDC.
