Pat - there's a gathering of OBS truck guys going on down there, put on by one of the performance shops. I've done business with the shop and know a few of the guys going down. Would have been a fun weekend and something different, but now I get to go to this industry conference thing for work. And it's traveling with 3 people I can't stand....lol.

 

That sounds like a whole lotta no fun Bill. But either one of your trucks can start a show wherever they go!
I'm in the final, and busiest semester of my degree program now. So I'm afraid it's all work and no play for the Rebel until the end of the year.
Not to mention my boss is really being a total PITA lately! I've been working for him for 6 years. Doesn't he know by now not to push me too far? Lol

Jim - yeah it was going to be a good time. Drag racing involved at a local strip and everything. But, instead I'll be shaking hands and kissing babies at an industry event in Hershey. That's a scary thought.

Kinda seems that way. Not that I want to be one. I'm happy having "enough" authority to make stuff happen yet not being a full blown executive. I don't like the stress level involved...lol.

 

Hopefully they don't do like they do here. I think they lobotomize our managers upon promotion.

 

That is one thing I see in management - not much thinking going on. That's why I don't want to be there. I've been getting a lot of respect from people for being the "common sense thinker" of the office...
