Tips in R&R rear wiper/motor

My 2002 has an intermittent rear wiper that does not work correctly. I have a remanufactured unit to install and I'm trying to figure out how to pull the rear wiper arm off. I have access to the motor and the electrical connection.

Has anyone replaced their motor and have tips they can share?

Has anyone repaired their motor that wouldn't fully sweep the rear glass?

Thanks!
