A big thank you to Dave!
I had the pleasure of meeting up with truckeemtnfords (Dave) today. He cut and welded a cat converter for me on the old 7.3 and went way, way above the call of duty. Semper Fi, Dave!
The truck passed California smog quickly and tomorrow it goes to its new home in the Valley Springs, CA area. A former student of mine bought it and he and his family will now get to enjoy all of my work and the numerous times I have been helped from FTE members (both living and dead). To all of you, I wish nothing but the best. I will check in from time to time. Thanks everyone, from the bottom of my heart. Adios, amigos!

Neil,
Thanks for the kind words. I was wondering on the smog test, glad it passed without a hitch.
Like I told you, the new owner got a screaming deal. I am sure he will enjoy it, especially with the camper.
I am sure you told him about us here and he will posting up in the near future.
Happy and safe travels on your next great adventure. You know you always have a place to stop in Truckee.
