Is it just me or are the FX4 Rancho shocks junk?

I do believe the 4600 series is the yellow shock for the super duty .
Spend the extra $ for the 5100
Believe me you will not regret it .
Kinda like running a set of toyo tires on a super duty . They are great . Compared too running the BFG T/A. Although I love em they just don't hold up on the superdutys

Call it what you want . I sell beilstien at my shop . And Arizona has some of the harshest conditions in USA. The 5100 are stainless bodied and they are not just made for lifted trucks .We install them on every JCP&L truck and SRP . Bone stock trucks . The 51000 also had 2 extra valving chambers 1 on rebound and 1 on compression . It's just a better shock . It's not BS it's fact . You can run the 4600 but I just gave you an honest answer .
Truth hurts alot of people that don't want the truth .
Either one is fine depending on your application . But the 5100 is just better all around especially for heavy loads , off road and extreme lateral flex.

I don't plan on any off roading but I do plow and tow a large 5th wheel. I just want a better ride on road and better control when towong and plowing. Seems anything is better than the stock FX4 shocks. 5100's sound like a winner. I plan on doing the steering shock as well.

Yup, says the 5100 can be used for stock height to 2 inches of lift. Since my truck has the plow prep package and sits slightly higher in the front, I think Ill go with the 5100.
