What is the black piece called and does anyone have a part number for it?

Don't know what it is called, but you should be able to scavenge one from a local u-pull-it salvage yard.

looks like the part you need is 7D443
don't know if you can get that part separately or if you have to purchase the whole assembly

The part number I come up with is 4L3Z-7210-CD for the whole shifter assembly.
