I dont know how it is up north but down here on the coast has some pretty wild rain. You guys try to stay dry and not get flooded.

 

That failed tropical storm meandering along the coast is spinning up bands of thunderstorms daily around here. I'm beginning to grow mold.

 

Damn low down yonder just won't move away. Friends & relatives in E Texas are wishing it would hurry up & get there.

Say a prayer for our friends & members down south that they stay dry & aren't flooded out again.

I'm taking quotes on a roof. New spots on the ceiling to go with our 17 inches of rain since first of June.

Haven't see anything on Face Plant by him or Norma in reference to high water. No news is good news.

 

I just changed the shocks on the f250 and got a new fan clutch because I have reason to believe its bad. Well, finally got the fan clutch off and I dropped it......right into the radiator. So now this oil change/maintenance day just got more expensive and created more work. Awesome.

 

And from now until the end of time you will ALWAYS place a piece cardboard in front of the radiator anytime you go to work on the front dress, no matter how big of a pain in the *** it is...

Ask me how I know...

 

well it's time to vent . i had the '55' up on jack stands to chg.the oil an filter. when it's time to come down the jack stand came down with no lock. roll pin broke,and got to checking and it's made in china. i never looked before.anyway it has a metric roll pin ???? true value don't have chinaman roll pins. so like any good old fart. used a carriage bolt.but had to cut an beat the housing so it would fit. almost 1 hr wasted on a i5 min. job. at least it's not raining right now waiting on the monsoonie tonight an tomorrow. hope everybody down south stays dry for awhile. he gator finnish norma painting yet

He tells us that we are indeed invited to the corner of Beach Blvd & Benachi St. for Crusin' The Coast. I'm going to try & get a thread worked up & some cross posts into other forums to see if any other folk are coming.

Terri & I are making a trip up to BB's Museum in Indianola today. (Our Groupon expires next week & the summer has been F'd up time wise)

Watching another low pressure system that can't make up its mind whether to **** or go blind. Could bring a lot more flooding to our neighbors to the south.

Or wash out mine & Terri's anniversary vaca trip to FL.

Im still hanging around. Haven't been doing a whole lot with all this rain we have been getting. This has been, yet another weekend I couldn't cut my grass. All because of this rain.
