When I turning fog lights on I see a small light that turning on in the panel but the fog lights outside are off. Have you checked the fog light harness where it plugs in to the main harness? It should be located on top of the frame on the drivers side just under the power steering pump reservoir? It should be a round grey plug.

I know this post is 7 years old but I just came across it and am having some similar issues. I found one side of the grey plug for the harness. But when I pulled the harness to where I could see it. It wasn’t plugged in to anything. It was jammed up under my steering gear box. And I can’t seem to find the other end to plug it back in.

I have a 06 f250 and put led lights in and then my fog lights stopped working did a lot of research and found out that this was an easy fix. I had to remover the 4 10mm bolts that holds the fuel box in and behind it there is 1 plug that has a hole orvring on it. Just pull up on the hole and the plug will come off then the top wire which is green with a black tracer on it. I cut the wire about an inch up, tape the wire in the harness ( not going to be used) add a ground wire on the plug side, reattach the fuse box back then take that new ground wire that you put on and ground it out on something metal. That's it. Then the fog lights will work on high or low beams
I did tried it and wow it works again with all led lights on it including the fog lights
I hope this helps you
