Short of having an exhaust shop build me a custom $Y-pipe$...I've been researching a replacement/upgrade. Throughout my research, a majority seem to point to Auto-Jet Muffler for replacement Y-pipes. If you download the Navistar catalog, while it doesn't list a Y-pipe replacement. There is an exhaust system listed for the 6.9 that seems rather unique and would seem to yield good results if it was used...the muffler, part# C-0040 is sized @ 2x2.75" inlet and 1x4" outlet.


Does anyone have any experience with a setup like this?


Perhaps it's an entirely different application, and will not work on the Fords?
