Car Hauler Project

Hi there guys just wanted to share my current project which is a 1991 F-350 with 460. 5 speed manual, and 4x4.

Here it is as I got it and the progression to today. I am hauling my 2980 pound Buick drag car, and I still need to beef up the rear suspension but it drives good with the car on the back.

Found a deck and cut it to length:

Kept the tilt capability:

And the 2980 pound car that I am hauling its a barely street legal drag car, swapping in a 900 HP engine this winter:

Welcome to the forums.

Nice work so far.

2980# Buick? You musta really cut some weight out the car.

I've removed 700# out of my wagon and it still weighs 3820# without me.

My buddies that happen to have a "few extra pounds" always say they are "getting down to racing weight" when they don't have that second serving of pie for dessert.

I'm lucky, I stay around 170# without too much effort.

For some nature made that decision for us

Even the first serving is pretty much off limits these days. Sucks to get old
