50 f1 226 hard to start when hot

I ran the truck all week and used up all the ethanol gas in the tank. Filled back up with non ethanol 87 no lead substitute or mystery oil. Put the original copper coated pump to carb fuel line on as well as the original oil bath air cleaner. Set the float 1/32 lower than the lowest setting in the book. Truck started up fine hot at Home Depot and at the parts store today and it's about 95 and humid as h*#%+.

One other thing I did today was put in a nos Holley distributor, timed the engine, and retorqued the spark plugs.
The old distributor's condenser wire was interfering with the point plate and the coil wire passed through the body to the points with some putty. This nos piece seems to be helping on restarts also.
When I took the #1 plug out to set initial timing I realized how loose my plugs were. When I changed them last summer I didn't torque them so I am probably lucky I didn't blow a plug. That probably wasn't helping on a hot restart either.
