Rough country 3" lift kit problems
i need some help. currently purchased a 3" lift for my 2012 250 6.7 after installing the rear blocks the passenger side tire is out about 1.5-2 inches and drivers is even with wheel well. I purchased 22x9.5 +18 offset wheels and 325/50/22 tires. its pissing me off that I can not get it fixed. I believe it is because rough country doesn't send replacement blocks its just add a block in the back which I am getting skeptical of. because I have rear overload springs and the ubolts are longer. has anyone heard of this problem, I also got a car fax and the truck was never wrecked. the only reason I went with rough country is because no one offers a 3" lift with new front springs but them. I also had to buy a icon adjustable track bar and not use their new track bar bracket. so the stock one is back on. also sent me the wrong bolts for upgraded shocks not once but twice and the first time the kit had no bushings on them. if anyone can help please do.

Adding an additional rear block shouldn't affect side-to-side positioning of the rear axle. Confirm that it is the rear axle that is shifted. It is possible to have the u bolt slightly crooked but that should be noticeable. The pins should align everything.
Stacking blocks isn't good practice but many vendors sell them.

the u bolts have been changed twice they sent the wrong ones in the first place. sent me 3 5/8 u bolts. spring pack is 3 inches wide. they now sent 3 1/4 u bolts for over load springs but its still messed up they now want me to take it to a dealer to get it looked at which is over an hour away. needless to say im already 2,000 into a 3 inch lift. I could have bought a pro comp 6" for 1600 and had it put on for 400.00

that's the thing I put lariat 20" wheels on it with 275/65/20 on them they both sat right at the fenders. with nothing noticeable .
nothing is bent underneath and the springs are in line no shackle movement or gaps. and the frame is not bent. I cant imagine the springs or pins would have moved1.5"- 2" inches with out it being noticeable. its actually getting frustrating. because it looks like ****. I put a lot of effort and time into this truck for it to look that way.

thought about that and contacted xd wheels about it. that wheel in a 22"x 9.5" is only made in one offset +18. people are telling me that they seem to think its the block stacking that will do it. if you look closely they don't look centered. in that case the rough country lift was useless all I used was the drop brackets and springs out of the kit along with the shocks.

We need more pics. Overall shots and close ups at different angles, front and back.
I also want to see the face of both back wheels.
One easy thing to try - flip the back wheels side to side. See if the one that sticks out switched sides or not. If it switched problem is the wheels. If it stays problem is the truck.
Where are you located?
Stacked rear blocks are a HUGE no-no and not safe either on this size/power of truck. It's a shame companies even offer this as an option but it comes down to lowering costs for the end consumer.
I dont like stacking blocks but can say with almost certainty the stacking alone didn't make the axle shift. Now in the process of installing them something else could have happened but even that is very unlikely.

I will get them as soon as I get home. I wont be able to switch them until Friday or Saturday. the truck is tuned so the stacked blocks do concern me also . I much would have rather spent another 100 dollars to be safe than to have loose blocks or take a chance with my life. all the pins are lined up and all shackles are true. the rear u bolts were run on evenly and torqued to specs.
I am located in Pittsburgh pa. it just makes me aggravated that I have spent over 1400 more than the kit was when I could have just bought a pro comp for that price and it been right.
