OK, let's talk business.
I just got off the phone with Laura the manager. She's a busy girl as there are actually three interconnected campgrounds and she supervises all three. I'll give her a "soft" pass on the delay. OK, here goes...
1) We need a pretty decent head count ASAP or she can't block off sites. Currently for our week, she has 7 sites together in one area and 6 in another. She can block off what we need and hold them until Dec 1st. If we take either block they will be pull through in the center of the campground and all together. If someone wants a waterfront site, the discount (rally rate) will be different than in the blocked off area as those sites are more expensive to begin with.
2) The rally rate will fit Roy nicely. $36 a night plus tax! I forgot to ask about the rally cabin rate. We need any combo of 10 cabins or RV sites to get the rate. How it will work is we book now with a standard deposit. If we meet the 10 count we get the rally rate when we check in. If we don't we pay the balance of the full price reservation when we check in. I don't think we will have a problem making a 10 count...
3) All sites in the entire campground including waterfront are full hookup with 50A. It's very rare to have waterfront sites with sewer.
So, that's the important stuff. I realize that everyone liked being in a row in WI but I think I am going to do a waterfront site to capitalize on my rear deck. Everyone can make that decision for themselves.
Can I please get a count of who is firm enough to book at this point so I can let Laura know how many sites to block off? I realize some don't know for sure but as I said earlier, you can always book and cancel if necessary. Cancellation fee is $25 if done 14 days or more out.
Lastly, I'll post when the block is set up for us so you can call in and book...

I will talk to the boss tonight Rodney. Wanted to sooner but our cat has been sick and her emotional coping has been poor at best. Really need to baby here and the cat healthy! We gambled a date this October to get out one more time, I don't think gambling on one a year out is out of the question. Maine has been on our list of places to check out anyway. I'm thinking if we do it I'd be your neighbor on the waterfront.................

I have you on the list Scott with no commitment. I hope you guys can make it! I think I'm going to call tomorrow morning with our preliminary numbers. We can always adjust from there if necessary. Worst case scenario and there are late bookers or we run out of sites, there are two sister campgrounds a stones throw away and two KOA's a very short driving distance away. I'm sure it will work out for everyone somehow.

My 13 yrs experience with MT State government......Easter Seals / Goodwill showed me the civilian world would be tossed over the side before the week was finished.....or shot. No sense of mission. NO teamwork. Leadership does not exist.
I have found out that businesses / people don't want to hear from me how to do it right....Easy going and I get further with the idiots........
We have time.......you will get ahold of them........

Rodney, we are planning to come but won't need a spot reserved for us.
If I had a FW the rate sounds great.
My nephew is in Augusta, we are planning to swing thru Bar Harbor, before or after making the rounds with him.
I would like to make your tenth spot but don't see that happening. Sorry.
Thanks for lining this up. We are in the same boat as Andre on the jam, thanks again.
