Autospring 2" complete lift kit
I just updated my "3 inch rear blocks" thread with this information so I figured I might as well write a review of the install and my thoughts afterwards.
I ordered the Autospring complete 2" lift kit about 2 weeks ago and installed it yesterday. The installation was fairly easy with a few minor snags(my fault). The directions specifically said that air tools would make this job easier, and I agree. With that said, I usually have air tools, but my current living situation dictated otherwise. Both my compressor and tools are currently in storage. The directions has you remove the forward bolt on the lower control arm and pivot it forward to make room for the longer strut during the reinstallation. I thought I had a 21mm socket, but apparently did not. I was able to get around this step by removing the axle nut which allowed the lower control arm to droop even further allowing me to slide the now longer shock into position. Other than having to figure that out and fighting rusted fasteners everything went smoothly.
I'm quite happy with the results. I started out at 37" up front and 39 1/4" out back. after the install I ended up with 39 1/2" up front and 41 1/4" out back.

Honestly I would have liked to keep the same amount of rake as stock, but since I don't usually haul heavy loads in the bed I dont' think it will be much of an issue. I do like how it looks now, subtle but noticeable. It's just enough lift that the stock size tires dont' look too small. My wife says it's "way higher", but I barely notice a difference climbing in it. I do however notice a difference while driving. It's actually amazing how much I notice even a 2" increase in height. It may just be because the nose is a little higher in relation to the rear though.
Either way i'm happy with it so far.

Anywho...it looks good and some 33's would really finish it off.

Hopefully that works out for you. Most people that try that method break an IWE actuator re-installing the axle shafts and start a new thread 2 days later "Grinding/Clicking Noise??". But it can be done if you know what you're doing and pay attention and make sure the gears mesh.

I agree with the 33" tires finishing her off! I was thinking I could probably stuff some 34 or 35's under her as well. I'm sure the budget would appreciate the 33's tough. I had 33" BFG AT's before these tires and would have stuck with them but 2 kids later the budget decided otherwise!
