I am looking at a truck at 'Bobby J's' dealership in clearwater, a 1994 F150 XL with the 6 and a stick. I have friends in the area but are out of town for a week.

I was wondering if anyone who knows fords like we do and lives next door-ish that can tell me if its the real deal...

The pics I have indicate zero rust on the frame, perfect rear spring hangers etc.
It has outrageous miles (330K) with zillions of carfax records from a local ford doing service. I need it to travel to PA without incident where it will be stored indoors until next spring, and then converted to a 347 powered rooty tootin show truck.

I need to know, are the pics for real, do the electronics work, will the tranny get into 5th and stay there for 1500 miles etc?

they are closed from 5pm today until tuesday, holidays being what they are so I am patient.
