Good mid afternoonie everyone.... the 4 letter word got in the way today.....W-O-R-K. It has been raining off and on so far since the morning storms.

 

That sucks Neil. My day is almost over. less then 20 minutes to go until I can log out and run for the time clock.

 

That's good news about the rain up there, Neil. We need it. In this heat , Shaun, walk don't run for the time clock....
Have to go help the neighbor unload an AC unit from his truck. TTYL

Yes it is good news, but we could stand a few more days of rain like this. It looks like the heavier/severe stuff is staying south of your place up here.

Ended installing the AC unit. Floor model. Did have to remove a storm/screen window for the ducting to work.

We are down to 88* now.

It's a little cooler out this morning but the heat is on!

 

They aren't to bad, Rick. Fans are always a little noisy. Pretty quiet on the low setting. I'd do the weatherstripping (self-stick to the window frame + could be a pain getting off) around the ducting panel a little differently though. Wonder how a drier vent would work?

Morning George, Jim, Craig, John, Rick, Don, Ken, Rob, Pat, Shaun, Shawn and anyone that I missed. Felt nice this morning to walk outside and not get blasted with the heat. It actually was very comfortable.

Well my wife has dropped the truck off to the garage this morning to get the exhaust manifold on the passenger side replaced. Hopefully this will take care of the lean code so that it will pass the emissions inspection. It has passed the safety portion already....just need this last part to make it legal for another year.
