Yes i worked outside 10 or 12 minutes ,it was hot . Whiskey ,watch out for the wind chill gonna be 100 next few days .

 

Yeah, I was flirting with heat stroke all day today.

Cora had a blow out and shredded a tire this morning, then I had to come home and start the lawnmower so the other two could finish the lawn. Then I had a brilliant idea to tire the truck up so I could test the new axle later this week. I drilled and tapped my jack adapter so it's more stable when I jack the truck up. It's MUCH better now. It doesn't try to fold over like it did before.

Even with all that, (and many rest breaks for water and standing in front of the fan) I managed to get the under hood brace for High Roller done. Now I can pull the doors and try to get the firewall and door jambs in paint. Jeff wants to come down and wire it, so the cab has to be painted where he's going to want to work.

 

Howdy all!! I have been way too busy packing and getting ready to move. Everything starts tomorrow after I sign for the house at 9. Then all i have to do is start the moving!!����.

I have to work most of the week, but tomorrow after I sign I'm off the rest of the day, so off to the races I go

 

Sounds like 2 men and a truck is who you need to call, careful working on the heat Jeff.

I am trimming trees in the am and doing a bit of paving...hopefully before the sun is on "bake".

 

Saturday I am going to get the U-Haul,. Towing down a truck per night lol

 

jeff i can come and help ya some.. i need to off load the engine,trans and axle off the bed of the flat bump.. but i could move the trucks for you if you would like..

Tomorrow I start, and the rest of the week I work and won't be home till the afternoon, not saying you couldn't do it then, but tomorrow after I sign for the house I will be starting my loads Southbound.

Tomorrow I will be there, the rest of the week I won't be till I get home from Joplin sometimes 3, 4 or 5 or so... whatever you want is a huge help to me even if it was only one vehicle...

 

I could also get your opinion on where I should put my 40 ft shipping container, if I get a good deal on one

good morning missouri.. still nobody up? i was out trying to find somewhere to put this axle and stuff to get it off my truck.. just couldnt find a good place for it.. need to do some more brush hogging behind the shop. i just cant see well enough to drive back there (afraid of cutting a tire on something) until i can see better.. i guess i could just leave it on on the truck if all i am going to be doing is towing jeff's trailer with trucks on it
