Monitor install location / layout / things to monitor
I have an SCT X4. I bought a generic aftermarket suction cup holder, but found that there is limited real estate on the dash where it is smooth enough to mount the cup while staying visible and out of the way of road view and other gauges. Where is your monitor (any make) mounted?
What are you monitoring? The screen on my X4 is pretty small, so after running 8 gauges in landscape mode, i switched to 6, 2 large ones and 4 smaller. What are the most important parameters to monitor and why?
here is the way mine looks

I have the SCT livewire TS. Mine is set up with one big screen with several smaller ones. The big one is set for EGTs which seems most important to me. In the smaller screens I have coolant and oil temps beside each other so I can monitor oil cooler condition and temps of course. Tranny temp below those two then voltage and rpm.
