Gentlemen, If the stars align tonight, I will again be a ford truck owner. I found a decent '89 F-150 that side swiped and scuffed the right front fender and the door but other than that it is decent shape. Long bed, automatic, with a 302. White with the red center. Needs some work but I know a guy who might be able to fix it up. Lol. Looks like a damn good starter truck that can be driven while it gets worked on. Also getting it at a real decent price.Hopefully I can get everything squared away and get some pics of it tomorrow. I hope to set it up as a camping truck to pull the bike to the mountains. Now I got to find a camper top for it that is in decent shape. Shouldn't be too difficult, especially with the support group we have assembled.
I think we also have a great support group for body work. Dustin certainly can do his homework and find great deals on body parts. Bob, I think, is itching to get his hands on a spray gun. If there's anything I can help out with, just ask. I think I have some parts laying around for that truck... some where.. Possible pre bent brake lines and rear brake wheel cylinders. Might be other stuff too.

Plane looks good Sparky. So do the Apple liquor Larry. Hope everyone had a good holiday, it's back to work for me this Tuesday.
I unfortunately spent several hours and a couple of grand over at NC State's Emergency Vet Clinic on Monday. She's been diabetic for years, and with all the traveling I've done since May, she stayed for a month at a friends place. Between infections and what not it's been difficult to manage her diabetes. Well she's stopped using one of her rear legs and just started dragging it, figured it was Neuropathy, so been trying to get her glucose back in order. However, the leg had been rubbed raw, and with her long hair, I couldn't really see the extent of it. Finally with Mary's help I was able to get a good look at the leg. then it was off to the Vet immediately.
Leg actually has multiple fractures, not sure why or where from. Glucose was too low, and the whole leg is infected. There's been some speculation as to what\why, but I'll hold off on sharing those at this time, till we know more. Now it's just sitting back waiting for the phone to ring, to find out what else is happening with her.
Anyway.. hope ya'll week started off better than mine!

I don't know much about RC stuff. What kind of engine is in that thing? What's the range you can fly it? Do you have to go to an RC airstrip or can you fly it anywhere?
We saw a quad-rotor-thingy-drone-a-ma-bob at the parade this weekend. They were flying it up and down the parade route. I was going to you tube it and see if the footage got posted.

its an electric turbine.. Just a little trainer plane.. never had one before so figured id start with a trainer.. If you have the room they can be flown anywhere.. if you prefer not to attach the landing gear the electric ones you can launch by hand.. i forget what it said for range.. thats in he instructions down in NC lol..
im going to use the main street in front of the property for it to take off and landing on... then fly it around on the 5 acres... maybe later ill get a nitro or gas one to build.. but till i learn to fly ill stick with the cheapy one.. nice thing with this is if it crashes and breaks the replacement parts are cheap..
the cheapy trainers can run anywhere from $90-$150.. and the expert level stuff your in the $2-$4000 so you really dont want to crash those lol... there was one i was looking at i wanted to get in the $500 range that was gas powered that could actually fly at 100 mph..

Sorry to hear about your cat josh.
I've came into a cat issue of my own, got 3 or 4 strays that have apparently been dumped. I wouldn't mind it, but I know the 4 will turn into 20 eventually. Plus I can't set a bag of trash in the bed of my truck over night with out it being shredded all over the bed.

Josh hope Cookie Monster gets better.
WOW you folks have been busy with all kinds of new toys. Congrats to all. I'm still swamped with the daughters wedding on Saturday and both daughters will be moving very soon. I need to clone myself for a few weeks.
