1976 460 help

I have a 460!with great oil pressure (80) at 2 grand in my 76 high boy. When it gets hot, there's a tick.... Not sure if it's a exhaust leak or rocker arms, pushrods ? It has an aftermarket cam, not sure what it is. Has a lope. I want to change the cam, and get new pushrods and lifters. What size pushrods do I need? I want a thunpr cam, and they supply the push rods but are they the right ones for stock d3 heads? And I wanted to go with the adjustable rocker route.... Is it worth it? Or just take the time to get the right pushrods. http://m.summitracing.com/parts/CRN-35655-16/ That's the kit I wanted for the adjustable rockers
