My truck is vibration free all the way up to the 105 mph fuel cutoff. You get there so smooth and fast that it surprises you.

Both good trucks. Just a note to say that ventilation in the Chevy is so good, you won't need rear air ducts. The cab cools quickly on the hottest days and passengers stay comfortable summer and winter.

I can tell you this my wife is a jeep person however we needed a bigger SUV. I pushed ford as hard as I could but at the end of the day the Ltz Tahoe won. Great truck sharp technology is the best. Great mileage, however my wife would tell you and she's not loyal to any brand that the fit and finish is cheap. Just little things for 70k. Tiny squeaks, noises, little things. Whenever she drives one of my f series trucks she says WAY better over all and why can't ford make the old and tired expedition like the f150.

If towing, the EB is hard to beat.

I had no idea tires that small are available on higher trim 4x4s. Nice truck!

Nice truck.

I think that 36 gallon gas tank is a necessity for those who tow (I average 10mpg towing my camper, that seems about what most people get) and I'm surprised at the number of trucks on dealer lots with towing packages and brake controllers that have the 23 gallon tank, a tank I think is ridiculously small.

I tried the Lariat with the 20's, and although beautiful, they compromised the ride quality. There was a constant subtle vibration that could be felt throughout the truck and actually was visible when I flipped down the sun visor. When i pointed it out to the salesperson, and then drove a platinum which only comes with the 20's was shocked that it was constant on three vehicles we drove with the 20's...

I don't mind rough or stiff ride, I just don't like the constant vibration, that comes from this combination of 2016 Ford Chassis, and the 20's...

i think the stock suspension can handle better the lower weight and the smaller rotational mass that is in the 18's...

The 18's are sweet...

Nice truck. I like the white with chrome.
My previous 4x4 Lariat F150's had the 18" rims. We looked at a Limited with 20 inch rims at thought it did ride as nice as the plane old Lariat with 18's.

The 6.2L enigine on the Chevy is FUN! on the Ford the 5.0 is ok fun but not as much as the Silverado. The F150 V6 ECO, is just business...Which is good if you don't want to hear that drone of the v-8 towing the boat up the hill...

I'm not sure what to do and I want to try and get some of the Discounts for Memorial day

I have a 2008 Tacoma now...
To me it just a brand thing. Both are 1/2 ton trucks but only one is Ford
My life truck experience:
Want a truck, buy a Ford
Want a car with a truck bed, buy a chevy.
I have seen exactly 2 trucks on the hwy that had lost a wheel, both chevy.
Chevy are always leading the mile long pack of cars heading up the pass to go camping.
The latest chevy commericals about their 1500 are absurd, almost worse than a hillary add
Every few months I hear of another massive chevy/gm recall.
How about another payout by chevy to owners of their vehicles.
How about their new tahoe/suburbans that have a vibration while driving that no one can seem to figure out. There's a Big Issue with GM's SUVs and No One Seems to Have a Solution » AutoGuide.com News
Anyways you get where I stand, and I have owned 2 chevy's in my life...never again.
I am a big fan of the 3.5EB as I love the power and twin turbo torque for raw power and towing, reminded of the diesels I used to drive. I can also appreciate the raw V8 power of the 5.0, and it has been a great motor for power/mpg/reliability. Either the 5.0 or 3.5EB will put a smile on your face.
When I got to choose I went for the 3.5EB for the towing power primarily. The new 3.5EB and 10spd tranny debut this fall too.
