1966 F-250 interchangable part years
Hi everyone, i'm new to FTE and i looked all over the internet for the truck years i can interchange parts with my 1966 F-250. In particular 1978 F250. Found a great parts truck for cheap with power steering, front disc brakes, 4wd and i was wondering if i could swap these into my '66. Thanks for he help

2WD to 2WD, yes, most all of it will "bolt in" and a great upgrade. PS, PB , discs, etc. As for 2WD to 4WD...anything is possible, maybe.
The '78 is most likely a 351M or 400, tranny bolt pattern will not fit your FE. You could swap the entire running gear, but I'm not sure those motors are an upgrade to an FE. No one take offense to that statement! I've had both and either can be modified to be more efficient(?) and more power.
