I recently purchased a 2012 F250 Supercab. I noticed that the dome light and cargo light do not come on when the door is open. Map lights all work. Bulbs are good. Fuses are good. Parking lights come on when you open the doors and alarm goes off when door is opened. I assume this means the door switches are working. I also noticed that the radio's delayed shut off is not working and it shuts off with the key. Any thoughts on how to troubleshoot this further? I don't know if it is related, but the power mirrors do not work either.

 

i had similar issue and it was a fuse but one i didn't expect
stopped at my dealer tech friends work and he pulled the wiring diagram up on his computer and if few min said what fuse to check

a good tech with the wiring diagrams can figure it out from your symptoms
that would be so annoying i would be willing to pay a dealer to have a tech trace it out

also some may say it is an issue in the cluster where the battery saver feature is located (what turns off things after a few min like radio and interior lights). thats what i was ready to fix till by buddy said exactly what fuse to replace based on symptoms and diagrams.

to this day i swear i tested every fuse, but sure enough he went to the panel and pulled out a dead one first try

i was so thrilled i bought him a $200 knife and had it engraved with his name on it as a thank you

 

I had the same issue with my 99 and I find out the 1st relay in the cabin fuse box was missing.... Replaced it ($9 on amazon) and then there was light!
