Easy question but I still need input.

Been having trouble with my 7-pin trailer light plug. The wiring is pretty hacked up between the pigtail connector and the plug so I'd like to just replace the whole thing. But I'm having trouble finding it. Parts stored just have kids that you splice in but the wires ain't long enough to get rid of all the electrical tapes surgery the previous owner left me with. Any ideas where to find the whole assembly? Cheaper than the 70 dollar jobs I've found? Thanks in advance!

I did see that one shortly after posting the thread. My truck is an 03 F-350. Everything I found just by googling says 99-01.......but the connector looks the same as mine. Not sure if there is a difference.

Yes doubt it changed much mines 2005 F350 and it looks like mine as well. Someone here will know better than us and chime in to let you know.

I bought a similar OEM plug from Ford for my 99 a couple years ago. If I remember correctly it was around $140 total.

I would suggest taking your VIN and calling the local parts counter and asking for the part number. When you are ready to order do so online with the link below.

I will call the dealer tomorrow and get a p/n and ask them if it changed between 99 and 2003. I appreciate the input!
