Fuel tank vent cleaning

Hey all,

Ive read a few posts about the slow filling of the fuel tanks and blowing out the lines to the vapor canister.

Could someone tell me what line/hose i should be pulling off to try and get it to vent properly?

I have cleaned the vent tube at the filler already.

Any help would be great!
Mike

I don't believe the canister vent line will help with slow fillups, Mike. The vent line to the fill next is many times larger than the canister vent hose; it is for vapors only.

I did redo my canister with new charcoal and found charcoal bits in the vacuum line between the canister to the throttle body but it did nothing to help with fillups. jim

Find a station where you can park with the filler caps uphill was the best I could do. I had dual tanks and teed the vent lines together but it didn't seem to matter. It may just be the 90 degree turn at the end of the filler hose that causes the back pressure to trip the nozzle off.
Another one of life's great mysteries, I guess?
