I'd think a manifold would fit into a flat rate shipping box.

To answer your question..YES .. it can be welded.

If you are willing to put it in a box and ship it to Southern California I know of a welding genius who has figured it out. He somehow mixes the welding product and does a very nice job for very little money.

If you are interested, PM me and I'll hook you up with him.

His zip code is 92509

Those are both 68-72 truck manifolds, common as dirt, someone on here will probably give you a good used one for the cost of shipping. Or you can get new aftermarket made by Dorman, part number 674-241.

A Truck exh. manifolds don't use these type of numbers, these are for a car C8AE-94318=1968 AUTO-ENGINE
May be you should do a search of these number.
for a truck it would have number like C8TE not AE=Auto Engine.

Plus notice the other exh. manifold that has the T cast part number D0TE=1970-TRUCK-ENGINE

C8AE-9431-B is the manifold used on the driver's side of 68-72 360/390 trucks. 1965-67 352 trucks used C5TE-9431-B on the driver's side. Here is a pair I removed from a 1972 360.

And here's the driver's side manifold on my original untouched 1970 360, never been off the engine and still has the factory heat shields. C8AE-9431-B

For a correct numbers for per year your 70 should be DOTE
Some manifold have a 1/4'' larger exit port like 390, 428. Where as the 360 has the smaller exit port.

Maybe your truck built with a I-6 and changed by the dealer and use what they had.
I don't have the answer other then those are for a car.

My truck left the factory with the 360 that's in it now with the manifolds that are on it now, 4th character of VIN is Y, which is 360. I know the history of my truck since my great uncle bought it new in 1970, the motor has never been out and the manifolds have never been removed. I have never heard that the 360 has a smaller outlet than a 390, parts books list the same donut gasket for either one.

Just a heads up
The 1972 TK=D2TE exh. manifold uses a flat head pipe flange & flat gasket, not the common 2"donut type.

For the $102 for the DS, and $125 for the PS, I would (and am) just going with headers.

And the crystallization is throughout. Not just at the crack site. A little bit of warp left in the manifold could make it crack again at installation or shortly after. Go with what is most likely to succeed.
