I'll be down there, just for the cruise. That is if I can get my truck back together.

I have gone to that show before, but this year I will be taking my truck. The show is awesome and you are right on the water by he inlet. It does get crowded. But fun.

There should have been plenty of hotel/motel space in the Delaware locations. Chincoteague is a pretty healthy drive.
Check Seaford, Laurel, Millsboro, Milford and Harrington. All have lodging and are closer than Chincoteague.

I can recommend the Brampton Inn in Chestertown, MD. The breakfast is world class and the owners and staff are extremely nice.

It is a couple hours down very straight, wide roads. They have lots of parking that will accommodate trailers. The well appointed cottages in the back are the nicest and most private. It may seem a bit pricey but for what you get compared to the high prices at the well abused and crowded beach motels it is great. The Brampton Inn is an 1800s house with broad porches and big trees. A great place to hang out on a hot, sunny day. Look at the pictures on the website. Your wife/girlfriend will love it.

If you like to eat fresh crabs and seafood from the Chesapeake Bay there are lots of fantastic places between Chestertown and Easton. And staying in Chestertown will give you a headstart on the returning traffic on Sunday which gets really bad.

Hi Ed,
My wife and I spend a lot of time in Chincoteague. We stay at the Comfort Suites great place all the rooms have a view of the bay. Great places to eat, such as AJ's , Don's and Bill's.
hope you enjoy it.
You going to Linvilla on the 15th?

Dennis, my wife and I go to Chincoteaque a couple of times a year, everything in the area is booked, I found a B&B called the Chanel bass and that is where we are staying.
I like Bills and AJ's too. I will have to check out Don's

The parade has been going right by the house all day long. I live on one of the Major routes to OC, so every year, I get to enjoy the show as they go and come back. If you're going to be anywhere near Milford, De around noon, give me a shout. I'll buy the coffee.

Rt 13 is the Western, North/South highway. Rt 113 is the Eastern, North/South highway. I live along Rt 113.
