I would have posted pics last night, but they said it'll actually be done today. Stupid, because they would've had it done yesterday if they took it in the shop when I dropped it off at 10AM instead of the 3PM they took it into, even though they said it would be done by the end of the day, 2 days before and they knew I was dropping it off. 😳

That looks much better than with the stock tires.

If I can make a suggestion, I would recommend fastening your big stuff down with ratchet straps. Add bolt on d-rings or cleats from tractor supply if you need mounting points. If you are going off road and everything is held to a flatbed without sides by bungee cords, I'll bet you lose something along the way.

I know that's true, but the ratchet straps look so bad, and the way the flatbed is made makes it difficult to tie them down. Any other recommendations?

Like he said bolt on some d-rings to the sides of the bed to hook the straps to. That would be your best bet to keep everything on that flatbed.

I've seen these at Home Depot. It's a track you can bolt along the side of the bed that would let you move the tie down hook to wherever you might need it.

Keeper 4 ft. x 2,000 lb. Horizontal E-Track in Green-89327 - The Home Depot

I don't like using bungees to tie stuff down because they're not really rated to support much weight.

Need some help here, guys. Truck seems to run ok, but when I push the brake pedal down a bit, a strange grinding/howling noise comes from the engine bay and same thing with the power steering. When I put the brake pedal down to the floor, it stops? Any ideas?

Do you have hydroboost brakes?

I would start by checking the power steering reservoir. Make sure the fluid level is good and it doesn't smell burnt.

Do you brakes pulse when slowing down? If so, you need to have the rotors cut to make them true again because the have warped from use or replace them. Since you are now rolling on 37s, you are going to put a lot more stress on your brakes. If the rotors need replaced, now would be a great time to invest in some drilled and slotted rotors. The venting will keep the cooler and hopefully prevent warping.

I'll check it when I drive to the parts store! Thanks for letting me know!

Kind of a random question, but do you have a tool box in your camping supplies?

I would also recommend a better way to fasten those belongings down. The mentioned items of using straps and the D loops would be ideal and I think you can find some nice straps that will make it look nice if your going for clean look. Personally I wouldn't care too much about looks and what good is that going to be when you stuff is all over the highway???
