Hello,I was wondering if someone has or knows how to take out the oil pan or knows how much it would cost to have a mechanic fix the oil pan and gasket. I know the oil pan and gasket are trashed and need to be replaced.

 

What year, engine are you referring too!

5l 302 1987, and I've had multiple people tell me the same thing lol,would I be able to put the new gasket on it without taking an oil pan out. Cause the gasket on there now is a one piece.

 

You can disconnect the engine mounts. Lift the engine as much as you can without damaging anything. You'll be able to change the gasket but won't have much room.
